We have a limited number of Golden Comets pullets available. Email or text 386-249-2134 for reservation.
Located in beautiful Suwannee County, Florida, J-Six Farms is now offering farm raised pullets. We sell our pullets at 8 weeks old when they are fully feathered and no longer need a heat lamp (unless is is really cold out). Most of our breeds begin laying early, around 4-5 months of age so getting them at 2 months old allows them to get acclimated to their new homes and family before egg laying begins.
Please remember to bring a crate or box with you when you come pick up your chickens. We have been feeding them a chick starter feed (Tractor Supply Brand) if you would like to continue this for the next couple of weeks before you start them on layer crumbles or pellets. We suggest you mix some of their chick starter feed in with the layer pellets for a couple weeks so their digestive system can transition easier.

The Plymouth Rock is an American breed of domestic chicken. It was first seen in Massachusetts in the 19th century and for much of the early 20th century was the most widely kept chicken breed in the United States. It is a dual-purpose chicken, raised both for its meat and for its brown eggs. It is resistant to cold, easy to manage, and a good sitter.
Chicken to the left is an example of an adult Plymouth (Barred) Rock and is for reference only.
